Yesterday the Wall Street Journal reported: “Nearly Half of U.S. Lives in Household Receiving Government Benefit”. I’m willing to share my thoughts on the article.
It’s still 34.2% when you remove the 14.5% who lived in homes where someone was on Medicare (the health care program for the elderly) and the 16% who lived in households receiving Social Security. And it only includes food stamps, subsidized housing, cash welfare or Medicaid (the federal-state health care program for the poor). You can read the entire article here:
